Depending on the campaign, prizes can go to an exact matching slot or the closest eligible selection. I establish tie-breaking rules and the treatment of unclaimed slots in advance so participants know how the outcome will be decided.
Independently verifiable results
I use the R7 Giveaway Manager, which calculates draw results using Bitcoin block hashes.
Once the announced block is mined, participants can check its hash and reproduce the result using the published method and finalized entries. This makes the selection process open to verification rather than relying solely on a winner announcement.
