Token Bounty Campaign

Whale Maker Youtube and Blog Bounty | A Fundraising Platform

Completed · Launched 2021-04-18 · Ended 2021-06-18

I managed Whale Maker’s YouTube and blog bounty alongside its 2021 signature and social campaigns. With an advertised allocation of 20,000 WAKER tokens, this campaign invited creators to produce original videos and long-form articles about the project.

The client’s goal

Whale Maker wanted content that could explain the project in greater depth than a social post or forum signature. The goal was to introduce its offering through creators’ own channels and publications, connecting viewers and readers with the project’s website, documentation, and community.

The approach

The campaign had separate video and article tracks, each with defined submission standards.

YouTube creators needed at least 300 subscribers and had to publish original videos longer than one minute, with clear sound and picture quality. Any language was accepted, and video rewards depended on content quality and views assessed after the campaign.

Writers were asked to produce original articles of at least 1,000 words, include the required project links, and identify their Bitcointalk profile. Both tracks required weekly progress reports in the campaign thread.

What I managed

I coordinated creator participation and weekly reporting, checking submissions against the requirements for each content format. My administrative focus included originality, required links and hashtags, creator identification, and eligibility.

For the video track, the published assessment criteria combined content quality with end-of-campaign view counts. For articles, the emphasis was on substantial writing and compliance with the campaign brief.

Results and evidence

The campaign listing records a dedicated YouTube and blog promotion with an advertised allocation of 20,000 WAKER tokens. Its published rules document the creator requirements, reporting process, and video reward criteria.

The allocation describes the announced token reward pool. It does not establish the number of accepted submissions, total audience reached, or final rewards distributed.

Campaign details

This was the content-creation component of my broader work with Whale Maker. The signature campaign provided visibility within forum discussions, and the social bounty covered Facebook, Twitter, and Telegram. The YouTube and blog campaign added room for longer explanations.

Managing these formats required a different review process. A video needed attention to presentation and audience response, while an article required a closer look at its substance, originality, and references. This campaign reflects my experience coordinating different types of promotional work within one project.
