I manage Vega Bet’s ongoing weekly football prediction events for the Bitcointalk and R7 communities. Announced from June 30, 2026, the series began with World Cup-themed promotions and continued into club fixtures, with event prize pools ranging from $150 to $200.
The client’s goal
Vega Bet wanted to connect its community promotions more closely with its sportsbook. The objective was to give football followers a recurring activity around selected matches while encouraging eligible members to explore the platform and participate in its sports offering. The approach
I built each event around a set of match predictions covering outcomes, goals, timing and corners. Published points determine the standings, with penalties applied to selected incorrect answers and earlier entries taking priority in a tie. I update the questions and eligibility conditions for each fixture so participants know how their entries will be assessed. What I managed
I handle event announcements, prediction forms, participant questions and submission records. I check the required account activity and supporting screenshots, score valid entries against match outcomes, resolve ties and coordinate reward credits to winners’ Vega Bet BTC accounts. Results and evidence
The supplied announcements document the series progressing from July’s international fixtures to October’s club matches. Early events advertised four $50 prizes from a $200 pool; recent editions offer three $50 prizes from a $150 pool. The latest supplied event was announced on October 18 for Chelsea versus Tottenham on October 24, showing the series continuing beyond its initial tournament theme.Campaign details
After Vega Bet’s raffle series ended, I shifted the promotion towards an activity where members could apply their football knowledge and follow their predictions during a match. The format then developed alongside the sportsbook: recent editions added a qualifying multibet requirement, connecting the community competition with a specific platform feature.
