The client’s goal

Vega Bet wanted meaningful exposure among football followers in the crypto community. Sponsoring established, season-long prediction pools offered an opportunity to build familiarity through recurring matchday discussions while contributing directly to community prize funds.

The approach

I worked with the host to identify a suitable sponsor, then presented Vega Bet with the benefits of supporting both communities throughout the season. Once the sponsorship was agreed, I established a public escrow record covering the funds, holding address and release conditions. Each pool advertised €2,000 in Bitcoin sponsorship.

What I managed

I handled the sponsor introduction, explained the promotional opportunity and coordinated the funding arrangement between Vega Bet and the host. My ongoing responsibility is custody of the sponsorship funds and their release under the published escrow terms. Cygan manages the competitions, participant entries and standings.

Results and evidence

The sponsorship was secured for both pools, and my public escrow announcement on August 5, 2026 confirmed receipt and custody of 0.073 BTC. The record includes a signed message, holding address and release terms. Both competition announcements identify Vega Bet as sponsor and credit me as escrow provider. The funds remain held for the season’s agreed prize arrangements.

Campaign details

This partnership began with a community host looking for sponsorship. I recognised an opportunity to connect an existing football competition with a client whose sportsbook matched the audience’s interests. Bringing the parties together addressed the funding need, while the escrow arrangement gave participants a public record that the sponsorship money had already been set aside.
