Spiroll Bitcoin Block Prediction Contest | $50 BTC Prize
Completed · Launched 2022-11-29 · Ended 2026-10-22
I managed a Spiroll community promotion on Bitcointalk, inviting eligible participants to predict a three-digit result derived from Bitcoin block #765850’s hash. The contest advertised a $50 prize paid in BTC and ran from November 29 to December 4, 2022.

The client’s goal
Spiroll wanted to introduce its gambling platform to Bitcointalk users and encourage initial product activity. The promotion combined account registration and a small wagering requirement with a Bitcoin-themed prediction contest. The approach
The campaign used a four-step participation process: register an account, deposit at least $2.50, wager at least twice the deposit and publish a prediction. Entries also needed the BNB address connected to the participant’s Spiroll account and a Bech32 address for the potential reward.Registration closed once Bitcoin block #765849 was mined, establishing a cutoff before the target block.
What I managed
I coordinated the contest’s public presentation and participant instructions on Bitcointalk. The campaign materials explained the entry requirements, submission details and block-hash number format, with examples showing how letters were skipped to obtain the final three numerical digits. Results and evidence
The supplied screenshots document the advertised $50 BTC prize, minimum deposit, wagering requirement and submission cutoff. They also identify block #765850 as the target and prohibit alternative accounts. The campaign dates establish its November–December 2022 timeframe. The supplied material does not confirm the winning entry, prize transaction, participant total or commercial results.
Campaign details
The contest connected a familiar cryptocurrency reference—the Bitcoin blockchain—with a short community promotion. Worked examples helped participants understand that they were predicting numerical digits extracted from a block hash, rather than the already-known block height. This portfolio entry covers the specific #765850 event. The later Spiroll dispute discussed elsewhere concerned a different contest targeting block #768250 and should remain separate from this campaign’s record.
