Review and Bug Detection Campaign

SnapSwap Review & User Testing Campaign | Bitcointalk

Completed · Launched 2025-09-20 · Ended 2025-11-03

I managed SnapSwap’s Bitcointalk review campaign from September 20 to November 3, 2025, with 26 members paid for their contributions. The campaign invited users to test the exchange and share practical feedback, with advertised rewards of up to $60 for detailed expert reviews.

The client’s goal

SnapSwap wanted fresh perspectives on its exchange experience, particularly issues that might have been missed during development. The objective was to collect useful observations about usability, page flow, errors and potential privacy or security concerns, alongside suggestions for improvement.

The approach

I encouraged participants to explore the platform and explain their findings with enough detail to help the team act on them. The campaign distinguished basic experience reviews from deeper technical contributions. Rewards recognised useful content, with no requirement for a positive verdict.

What I managed

I published the campaign brief, answered participant questions and assessed submitted reviews. I maintained the spreadsheet linking members, review posts, reward decisions and Bitcoin payment addresses. I also coordinated reward processing and communicated the closing arrangements.

Results and evidence

The campaign concluded with 26 members paid, according to my campaign records. Public submissions documented user experiences and specific improvement suggestions. The final spreadsheet provided a record of contributions and reward calculations, while my closing statement confirmed that review content was the basis of assessment.

Campaign details

A useful example was feedback about input validation: one participant reported that an error message remained visible after correcting an invalid amount. Observations like this showed the value of asking community members to examine the actual exchange journey. Small interface details could become clear, specific reports for the development team to investigate.
