I managed Mixero’s monthly Bitcoin price prediction contest series on Altcoinstalks from October 2025 through January 2026. Each month offered a $500 prize pool, giving community members a recurring opportunity to test their predictions and compete for rewards.
The client’s goal
Mixero wanted to maintain regular contact with the Altcoinstalks community through an activity relevant to crypto enthusiasts. The goal was to build brand familiarity by sponsoring an accessible competition around a topic members already followed: Bitcoin’s price. The approach
I used a monthly format with defined submission windows and a published price reference. The opening edition required two USD predictions—one in each entry period—with no edits allowed after submission. Its rules specified CoinMarketCap as the reference source and a fixed UTC observation time, giving participants clear conditions before entering. What I managed
I handled contest announcements, participant enquiries, entry records and deadline communication. I checked submissions against the eligibility requirements, compared valid predictions with the designated reference price, and coordinated the results and reward arrangements with Mixero. Results and evidence
The series continued across four months, representing a combined $2,000 prize budget at $500 per month. The October and January campaign threads bookend its run, while the supplied graphics document the entry mechanics, eligibility conditions and price-checking reference. The October rules also specified $100 prizes for both second and third place.Campaign details
This series complemented Mixero’s other community promotions by creating a predictable monthly activity. The two-entry structure gave participants a reason to return during the month and reconsider their outlook as the market developed. For me, it was a practical way to connect an ongoing sponsorship with the community’s everyday interest in Bitcoin.
