Signature Campaign
Mixero ADVANCED MODE Bitcoin Mixer Signature Campaign | Sr+ up-to $250/w
Paused · Launched 2022-11-22 · Ended 2023-12-31
I managed Mixero’s Bitcointalk signature campaign from November 27, 2022, to December 31, 2023. It launched with more than 15 members and operated with a weekly campaign budget of $4,000–$4,300.

The client’s goal
Mixero wanted to establish a recognizable presence among active Bitcointalk members and introduce its Advanced Mode service. The campaign promoted its BTC-to-XMR-to-BTC approach while encouraging relevant discussion and feedback in the project’s announcement thread. The approach
I used rank- and merit-based recruitment to build a campaign centered on constructive contributions. Participants displayed Mixero’s signature, avatar, and personal text, with eligibility checks covering posting quality, recent merit activity, and forum reputation. The published payroll structure allowed up to 50 eligible posts weekly:
- Above 3,000 earned merits: $5 per post, up to $250.
- Hero and Legendary: $2.50 per post, up to $125.
- Sr. Member: $1.20 per post, up to $60.
Minimum post length, board exclusions, and local-board limits defined which contributions qualified for payment.
What I managed
I handled applications, participant selection, weekly post assessments, and payment calculations. I also checked that members displayed the campaign assets without altering the signature code.My responsibilities included holding the marketing budget, publishing balance updates, and maintaining the Sunday-to-Saturday UTC reporting cycle. Members had access to a public spreadsheet, while management received a separate detailed private report.
The campaign also applied my “Prevent AI Domination” terms, with evidence-based reporting and removal provisions for breaches.
Results and evidence
The Bitcointalk campaign ran for approximately 13 months, from November 27, 2022, through December 31, 2023.Its campaign thread, closing announcement, and public spreadsheet provide references for the engagement and its administration. The stated weekly budget describes the campaign’s operating scale; it is not presented as verified cumulative spending or a measure of sales generated.

Campaign details
This campaign became the first chapter of a longer client relationship. As Bitcointalk’s restrictions on mixer advertising approached, Mixero’s forum promotion transitioned to Altcoinstalks. The Altcoinstalks campaign opened in December 2023, before the Bitcointalk version closed at the end of that month. These are separate campaign records within the same continuing engagement.
For my portfolio, the transition illustrates more than campaign longevity: it shows the need to adapt a client’s advertising plan when a platform changes its rules.
