Review and Bug Detection Campaign

LizEx Review Campaign | Real Exchange Testing & Community Feedback

Completed · Launched 2025-11-05 · Ended 2025-12-16

I managed LizEx’s Bitcointalk review campaign from November 5 to December 16, 2025, with a budget of $1,150. Participants were asked to complete a real cryptocurrency exchange and provide useful feedback, with eligible reviews earning $20 or $60 in BTC depending on their depth.

The client’s goal

LizEx wanted practical insights into its exchange service from cryptocurrency users and experienced community members. The objective was to identify usability problems, bugs and potential privacy or security concerns, alongside suggestions that could help improve the customer experience.

The approach

I made a completed exchange the foundation of each review, giving participants firsthand experience to evaluate. The guidelines encouraged them to examine navigation, transaction steps and anything that needed improvement. A two-tier reward structure distinguished useful basic feedback from expert analysis supported by explanations, proposed solutions or relevant resources.

What I managed

I defined the submission requirements, answered participant questions and assessed reviews for eligibility and reward level. I also collected Bitcoin payment addresses and enforced the rules against alternative accounts and placeholder submissions. My role was to keep the campaign focused on substantive feedback that the LizEx team could evaluate.

Results and evidence

The campaign closed on December 16, 2025, following its November 5 launch. Its allocated budget was $1,150, with published rewards of $20 for useful basic reviews and $60 for qualifying expert reviews. The campaign thread provides the reference for its scope and requirements; confirmed reviewer counts, total payouts and resulting product changes are not included in this case study.

Campaign details

This campaign gave participants room to challenge the service and explain what could work better. Screenshot descriptions alone were not enough: the brief asked for observations grounded in actual use and, where possible, recommendations. There was no fixed closing deadline at launch, allowing me to assess the volume and usefulness of submissions before closing recruitment.
