I hosted three rounds of DGbet’s community-building poker event, promoted through Bitcointalk. The campaign offered no-buy-in participation and advertised prizes of up to $2,000 under its freeroll format.
Three rounds of community poker hosted for DGbet and promoted through Bitcointalk.
The client’s goal
DGbet wanted to connect with cryptocurrency users through an activity they could enjoy together. The objective was to encourage participation and give the brand a community presence built around a shared poker experience.
The approach
I used a three-round poker format to create recurring opportunities for engagement. Removing the buy-in requirement made the events more accessible, while the forum thread provided a central place for announcements and participant discussion.
What I managed
I handled event coordination, participant communications and hosting across the three rounds. My responsibilities included explaining the format, communicating event instructions and keeping the community informed as the series progressed.
Results and evidence
The campaign completed three poker rounds. Its public Bitcointalk thread provides the historical reference under the title “DGBet Community Building Poker Event | Buy-in 0 | Prize: up to $2000 Freeroll.” The advertised maximum is not presented here as a confirmed cash payout or a combined prize total.
Campaign details
Poker gave DGbet a way to bring people together beyond its product discussions. Across three rounds, participants had further opportunities to meet, compete and interact with the brand. The event added an experience-based element to DGbet’s community marketing.
