Crypto Traveler Review Campaign | Travel Experiences & Community Feedback

Paused · Launched 2026-03-05

I launched Crypto Traveler’s review campaign on Bitcointalk on March 5, 2026, inviting members to share their experiences with flights, hotels, eSIMs and the platform itself. The campaign advertised rewards of up to $100 in BTC, with a June 30 deadline. It is now closed.

The client’s goal

Crypto Traveler wanted firsthand feedback on how its services worked for travelers. The goal was to gather honest accounts of the booking process, payment experience and customer support while introducing the platform to a cryptocurrency-focused audience.

The approach

I divided the review guidelines into specific areas: successful flight bookings, hotel bookings, eSIM purchases and the overall platform experience. Members could review services used for themselves or arranged for friends, family or clients. Every submission required an honest final verdict, allowing criticism alongside positive feedback.

What I managed

I set out the participation terms, explained the review requirements and managed submissions through the campaign thread. My responsibilities included assessing reviews for acceptance and organizing them in a spreadsheet, with reviewers instructed to include a bech32 Bitcoin address for their reward.

Results and evidence

The campaign is closed. Its published guidelines documented rewards of $40 for a successful flight-booking review, $30 for a hotel-booking review, $10 for an eSIM review and $20 for feedback covering the wider platform experience. The public thread provides the campaign reference; accepted-review counts and total payouts are not included in this case study.

Campaign details

Travel reviews depend on opportunities to use the service, so this campaign allowed participation beyond a member’s own travel plans. Someone arranging a booking for a relative, friend or client could also contribute. This made room for different customer journeys while keeping the focus on actual service experiences.
