I managed 1win’s Saturday Poker series, bringing its brand into the Bitcointalk community through 43 tournament rounds. The campaign combined recurring event promotion, player registration and branded poker experiences, with an advertised $1,000 reward pool in the opening and final rounds.
The client’s goal
1win wanted to build a closer relationship with cryptocurrency and poker enthusiasts through an activity they could participate in regularly. The aim was to give community members a reason to interact with the brand beyond seeing an advertisement. The approach
I used a recurring Saturday tournament format supported by clear announcements, registration instructions and reward schedules. Promotion connected Bitcointalk with Telegram and X, while participation requirements evolved during the series. The later freeroll format removed the initial deposit requirement, making entry more accessible. What I managed
I coordinated tournament announcements, participant registration, account details, check-in instructions and player communication. I maintained the connection between forum participants and their tournament identities, organised winner information for reward coordination and worked with 1win on event requirements. The presentation also included branded table and card layouts to keep the sponsor visible throughout play. Results and evidence
The series reached 43 rounds, creating repeated opportunities for community participation. The first and final round announcements document its development: the opening event was scheduled for January 11, 2025, while round 43 was scheduled for November 8, 2025. By the final round, the reward structure covered 20 finishing positions through account-credit rewards and free spins. The campaign record spans January 5, 2025, to January 14, 2026.Campaign details
A distinctive part of this project was how the experience developed beyond a forum announcement. The custom 1win table and card designs carried the sponsor’s identity into the game itself. Alongside the move to freeroll entry, this helped shape the series into a recognisable community event with its own presentation and routine.
